Uncertainty

Sat Mar 22, 2008, 8:56 PM
I will hold the warrior's sword, but in the name of whom do I hold it? I cannot bear to stand on the rocks with the blood flowing around me and the scars in my past, I have been bound to what I have been created as and I wish to continue, but to what allegiance do I owe, when I cannot follow in the footsteps of uncertainty, and lead those who suffer under regimes of bloodlust to their own, and our own mortal doom?
I see reflections in the mirror of the past, and I do not wish for it to be repeated with weapons more terrible than ever, what has Man come to when he has created such a device to perform such evils on innocent souls?
I must turn and face the truth, be it with a bloody arrow or a bright sword, thrust through the heart all the same... We must find the small path which we all desire but cannot yet grasp, which is written in the future and desired for in the past.
Take my hand and fly with me, grasp the reins of destiny, hold back the floodwaters of our enemies and make them understand, let them instill their trust in us and lose their hatred for us. This can only be done by example, and the example starts with you.

Wee! Happy New Year

Thu Dec 27, 2007, 7:57 PM
Wait... What's so happy about new year's anyway... It's another year, which means that you're older, youre going to have to buy a new calendar, dealing with hangovers :drunk:... happy times, huh. Oh yeah, and did i mention you have to remember to write '08 in the date when you've been used to writing '07 for a whole entire year?
Ok, complaining aside - Let's focus on the good things! Computer works... I've resurrected it from the dead :skull: I've also got Photoshop back up and running, which means hopefully i can make some new stuff for my gallery, (which is getting boring to me) So, i basically have nothing to do, which is really getting fun these days. Remember - suggestions are still (as always) welcome!

Ready.. Aim.. Fire! Happy Holidays Everyone!

Sun Nov 25, 2007, 2:21 PM
BlackHawk signing in with "season's greetings":
Brace yourselves people... yep, it's that time of year again. The holidays are almost here. I bet many of you are thinking "Oh, great now i have to go and buy a whole truckload of gifts to hand out to a load of crabby people who are thinking the same thing as I am, 'when is it over?'"
It seems like the clock is broken, because it takes forever for Christmas and whatever other holidays you celebrate to finally arrive, and when they do, they're over in the blink of an eye. All that preparation and fussing around and worthless complaining and shopping and baking and decorating and cleaning the house for the guests who will arrive and did I mention shopping and whatever else you do for the holidays for 2 days. 2 STINKIN days that are over before you can even say Merry Xmas, and by the time it's over, you have a terrible headache and you have to sort through a pile of receipts and go back to every store to return the stuff nobody wanted.
Christmas is such a hectic holiday. I mean why can't they just celebrate it like they do the 4th of July? Everybody should have a really good picnic and then go outside and set off some explosives. Ahh.. that's the life. Hey, you want some winter fun?
Build a snowman! [link]
No snow where you live? Try this! [link]
Hate that new barbie doll you got for a christmas present? [link]
Hate your computer? :crash: [link]
Whew... well that should just about cover it. My point is, a little explosive celebration solves everything. Think about it, the only running around you'd have to do for the holidays is running away from that fuse you just lit, and the only headaches you may or may not get would be from all the loud explosions going on in your backyard. And if the cops come to your house and ask what the hell's going on, just tell 'em you're celebrating christmas and send them back out the door with a simple "Happy Holidays!"
-BlackHawk over and out.

Is it meaningless to you?

Sun Sep 2, 2007, 9:28 PM
Find something to follow, not an example, just an idea. Take it with you wherever you go, nurture it and make it stronger, but never release it, for it will die, and your efforts will have been wasted.

I find this to be true more often than not, because when i get a really great idea, i'm just bursting to share it with others, but once it leaves my mind and settles on the thoughts of others, it is beaten and torn at until i feel as if there was no point of even starting to think of it, because the idea has been ruined, plans reduced to ashes, and countless hours of time wasted thinking about something that no one cares about. If you really care about something, or if you have an idea to do something, don't tell anyone, just do it, and you will not be hindered, and your idea will not be tampered with or stolen, and you will be sucessful.
Also, if you are trying to accomplish something, don't doubt your abilities even for a second, or you will find that you will not be able to do what you are intending to do, and you will fail, utterly, miserably, even possibly with your life. You must think that you are able to do whatever it is that you need to do, and grip that thought in your mind with the strongest of mental talons. But don't make an effort, either, because if you strain at the idea of trying to stop yourself from thinking about something, you will lose your strength in other places.
You must think, and yet not think. Think outside yourself. Examine each thought that you have and let yourself know that one thing is ok to do, or something that you normally would do shouldn't be done, because the outcome would be bad or not as well as desired. This must also be done quickly, or you will waste your time contemplating, so you must almost know what you are going to think before you think it, and act without further thought as to whether the decision was right or wrong.
If it turns out that the decision was wrong, just keep in mind that since it already happened, there is no going back and changing it, so don't regret it, just learn from it and perform better next time that particular set of actions comes your way.
Furthermore, i leave you with this: Love is not, it leads you to dark places and impulsive decisions. Hate is not, for it leads you to paths of despair and loneliness.
If you are to enjoy something, do not love it, appreciate it. Be glad that this thing that you appreciate exists for you and others to enjoy and admire. If you are to despise something, do not despise it, but rather accept it, for if you are to spend your whole life wishing that something wasn't, it would be a waste of your life. Accept that these things exist, and if they bother you, just say "yeah, i know it bothers me, but it shouldn't concern me because i have other things to do", just put the thing out of your mind and focus on your task.
Do what you will and take what is given to you, do not complain, just go on with your life. Use what you have with care and do not waste what is given to you.
Also be aware of your life, your surroundings, your mind, your attitude, and be aware that you are alive. Take a few moments to just stop, and let the world drift away, and just breathe.
