All of us wake with dreams in our eyes, hopes in our hearts, and ideas to spare. We know not what to do, we are so burdened by our own possibilities, then we realize that we are nothing without eachother because you wouldn't have anything without the ability to bounce ideas off others. However for some, this is irritating since the ideas that are dreamed up are sometimes taken away by the magpies that are others, or are crushed by the limitations of society or the lack of acceptance in a burgeoning world. So then we hold back on our dreams, drawing in the reigns in order to protect some far off glimmer of fame or fortune, realizing that to do so is like keeping the leaves that fall off the trees in autumn, they are beautiful only for a short while but then as time passes they fade and you will do nothing with them except put them in some box only to take them out and look at them or just throw them away. This way no one can glean from your pearls of wisdom and your fortune is left untouched, but it is not a fortune if it is never utilized. We also do not share ideas because once the credit is spread around, the more the idea becomes part of a group or movement and not an individual endeavour. This leaves the likelihood that your name will be tagged onto a piece of work extremely slim and your part in its production may as well never have been initiated. Therefore we must not be afraid to share with others, because if it is not shared in some way or another regardless of risks, there is no chance in all creation that anything will become of what you have done, even if you are not given the credit you will still know that you have done what you could and share a secret pride in the fashioning of your knowledge. And we all know that there will always bee a chance to try again and the next time may be the right time for your idea to grow. That is why we must let our ideas take flight, and that is why we have deviantArt as a medium for sharing our thoughts with others.
